The Valencian company Ports.tech, the services and solutions hub that brings technology closer to the nautical sector, has acquired the entirety of Pandora Global System, “Pandora”; a compñany specialized in integral management software for marinas and yacht clubs.
With this new acquisition, the Valencian Ports.tech, will manage more than 70% of the marina moorings in Spain, which means controlling 186 ports and yacht clubs, or 90% of the market share in Spain. In addition, the company will have an international presence.
After more than 20 years in the market, Pandora Global System is still the only technological supplier of the main Spanish marinas. The company offered a complete service and not only in the software part: from access systems, parking, meter readings, time and attendance control, etc. Therefore, this union represents a revolution in the nautical sector and will soon make them leaders in the European market.
In the opinion of Javier Lasarte, CEO of Ports.tech, “for the company this is a strategic acquisition that will allow us to integrate technological solutions that will allow the port to have new lines of income, optimize resources and become increasingly digital in the optimization of its processes and services. In addition, its users will also be able to enjoy greater and better experiences”.
Port.Tech was advised by Andersen; with a team formed by María Chornet, senior associate; Miguel Ángel Galán Rubio, independent tax advisor and Carlos Quijada Gonzalez, partner at Quijada Gestión.
