PLMJ counsels Topcapital on its sale of PRIO

PLMJ has advised Topcapital Energia, managed by Oxy Capital, on the sale of PRIO to DISA

PLMJ assisted Topcapital Energia, owned by the Fundo de Restructurão Empresarial and managed by Oxy Capital, with the sale of PRIO to DISA Group.

PLMJ advised Topcapital Energia on structuring and negotiating the transaction, vendors Due Diligence, Regulatory matters associated with PRIO’s activity and regulatory issues, Data Protection and Compliance.

The operation includes a network of gas stations with 247 points of sale, the storage terminal and the biodiesel factory, both located in Aveiro. The transaction is now awaiting approval from the Competition Authority and the completion of applicable regulatory procedures.

Prio was founded in 2006 and is 100% owned by Fundo de Restructurão Empresarial, through Topcapital Energia. Its main activity is the distribution, sale and storage of liquid fuels and the production of biofuels. The acquisition of PRIO by the DISA Group guarantees the continuity of all activities that have been developed by PRIO.
