PLMJ appoints 13 new associates

PLMJ has announced the appointment of 13 new associates.

The new associates are: Alexandre Hierro (corporate M&A); Leonor Melo Bento (corporate M&A); Rui Vasconcelos Pinto (corporate M&A); Isabel Miranda Alves (tax); David Pratas Brito (real estate, planning and tourism); Miguel Paquete (real estate, planning and tourism); João Carminho (technology and privacy); João Prata Rodrigues (EU and competition); Inês Crispim Ribeiro (banking and finance); Maria do Mar Carmo (banking and finance); Henrique Soares Santos (financial and corporate litigation); João Gil Antunes (litigation and arbitration); and Mariana Nunes Martins (litigation).

PLMJ managing partner Luís Pais Antunes (pictured) said the promotions were part of “our search for interested people who want to make tomorrow happen today, who are agents of change”.

He added: “The promotion of these new associates reflects a very successful year. It is also recognition of their professional merits and a focus on the organic growth of our teams. More than just creators of daring legal solutions, these lawyers are truly transformative legal experts.”

PLMJ now has 57 partners, 28 managing associates and 48 senior associates among a total of around 300 lawyers.
