PLMJ advises Wizink on €150m portfolio

PLMJ has advised Wizink Bank, on a €150 million securitisation of a consumer credit portfolio

PLMJ has advised Wizink, the digital bank specialising in credit solutions, on the securitisation of a consumer credit portfolio. The transaction had an estimated value of around €150 million.

The team from PMJ advising on this matter was led by Gonçalo dos Reis Martins (pictured left), a partner from the Banking and Finance and Capital Markets practice, together with senior associate Alexandre Norinho de Oliveira (pictured centre), with the support of André da Gama Loureiro (pictured right), both from the same practice area.

Gonçalo dos Reis Martins said: “We are grateful to have been entrusted with the role of lead counsel in another landmark securitisation for Wizink and this is was great achievement for the team.”

Wizink is a digital bank in consumer finance in Spain and Portugal, with more than 2 million customers. Through their Lendrock digital platform, they offer financing solutions for the purchase of occasional vehicles. They are supervised by Banco de España and Banco de Portugal.
