Pérez-Llorca to open London office
Pérez-Llorca has announced it will open an office in London in December this year.
The office will not practice English law, but will advise clients on the Spanish law aspects of their transactions and will “step up the firm’s marketing efforts”, a firm statement said.
The office will be managed by Fernando Quicios, a corporate partner at the firm. Quicios´ experience includes mergers and acquisitions, banking, capital markets and project finance.
Commenting on Pérez-Llorca´s first foreign office, the firm´s senior partner Pedro Pérez-Llorca, said: “The decision to expand our office network outside Spain, and having chosen London as the first seat, is explained by the demand we had been seeing from our clients, specifically in the financial and capital markets areas.
“The objectives of becoming international are to offer our current and potential clients a service that is even more global and to be able to accompany them in the development of all their projects – for this reason, it was necessary for us to be present in the financial capital of Europe.”
