Cuatrecasas moves from the firm´s Barcelona office – she will succeed Miguel Ángel Melero, who has been New York managing partner since 2010. Melero will return to the firm´s Madrid office.

Cuatrecasas will “promote the firm´s international expansion”, a firm statement said. She also specializes in the pharmacy, health products and biotechnology sectors (life sciences), as well as the TMT sector.

“Combined commercial and tax experience, together with in-depth knowledge of the Iberian market, is fundamental when offering the legal service required by Spanish investments in the US and US investments in Spain and Portugal,” she said.
