Pérez-Llorca forecasts nearly 20% global revenue growth in 2026

The firm expects international business to account for around a third of its revenue this year

Pérez-Llorca expects global revenue to grow by nearly 20% in 2026, driven by its international business. Based on the firm’s 2025 global pro forma revenue of €211.3 million, a 20% increase would bring turnover to exceed €250 million. In particular, according to sources at Pérez-Llorca speaking to Iberian Lawyer, revenue generated outside Spain could account for around a third of the total this year, compared with approximately a quarter in 2025. “Our international expansion plan is progressing ahead of our own targets. This year, we estimate global growth of close to 20%, driven by international business,” sources at the firm told Iberian Lawyer.

The forecast follows a year in which Pérez-Llorca reported a 28% increase in global pro forma revenue. International operations in Portugal, Mexico and Colombia generated €55.5 million in 2025, accounting for 26% of the total.

The firm’s international expansion has continued in 2026. In June, Pérez-Llorca launched operations in Abu Dhabi, establishing its first physical presence in the Middle East under the leadership of Gonçalo Capela Godinho. This was followed in July by the completion of its merger with Peruvian firm Miranda & Amado, announced two months earlier. Following the integration, Pérez-Llorca reported a global workforce of approximately 1,300 professionals across 13 offices. More recently, in October, the firm announced the creation of an Iberia-Latam team based in Mexico to strengthen its capacity to handle cross-border transactions between Europe and Latin America. The initiative includes the planned relocation from Madrid of corporate partners Alfredo Lafita and Gonzalo Sánchez-Quiñones, alongside the involvement of six other Spanish lawyers specialising in areas including M&A, real estate and international disputes.

The new team forms part of Project Scala, a series of initiatives through which Pérez-Llorca aims to capitalise on its international expansion, strengthen coordination between offices and develop a more integrated Ibero-American platform. In this context, sources at Pérez-Llorca also acknowledged having received expressions of interest from potential lenders seeking to support and accelerate the firm’s growth. However, they stressed that the firm had not entered into discussions with any party on the matter and was not considering any transaction this year. “If we were to pursue something along these lines, we might consider it as a project for 2027,” the sources told Iberian Lawyer.
