Pérez-Llorca defends BlaBlaCar against Confebús’ attempt to suspend its activities

Pérez-Llorca successfully defended car-pooling platform BlaBlaCar against an attempt by Confebús, an association of bus operators in Spain, to stop its activities.

Confebús launched legal action against BlaBlaCar because it claims the ride-sharing platform provides “unfair competition”.

But Madrid commercial court number two rejected Confebús attempt to have BlaBlaCar’s activities suspended.

The Pérez-Llorca team defending BlaBlaCar included partner Guillermina Ester and lawyer Sara de Román.

BlaBlaCar, which operates in 22 countries, says 10 million people use its services every quarter.
