Ontier advises on the sale process of Neoalgae to Dispro Invest
Neoalgae, founded more than 10 years ago by Fidel Delgado and Ignacio Albert in Asturias, is a leading company in innovation in the microalgae sector and develops and manufactures ingredients for the cosmetic, nutraceutical (food and supplements that help maintain body wellness) and pharmaceutical industries, with 8 commercial brands and several international awards.
The company has been acquired by Dispro Invest, a holding company with a wide portfolio composed of companies such as the multinational Disproquima (distribution of raw materials and ingredients), and other well-known ones such as ExpaFruit or Igh Flavours & Technology.
Neoalgae has been involved with Ontier during the last years in many working areas including this sale process to Dispro Invest, with a multidisciplinary team, led by Ignacio Arce Orejas (pictured right), senior corporate & M&A lawyer of Ontier’s office in Oviedo, together with Pelayo García-Bernardo Albornoz and Laura Zaldívar Lobato (pictured left and center), senior and junior lawyers, respectively, both members of the same team and office.
