Olivia Delagrange, new head of litigation at Simmons & Simmons
Simmons & Simmons has appointed Olivia Delagrange as the new Head of the Litigation Department in its Madrid office.
Delagrange joined the firm in May 2023 as partner in charge of the Insurance practice. With over 20 years of experience, she has built a distinguished career specializing in complex litigation within the insurance sector.
Admitted to practice law in three jurisdictions—Spain, Belgium, and England & Wales—Delagrange is uniquely positioned to handle cross-border and multi-jurisdictional disputes with confidence and agility.
Her expertise spans all areas of the insurance industry, with a particular focus on property, construction, and energy insurance. She also regularly advises on claims related to defective products, especially in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
The firm’s litigation team in Madrid has recently seen strategic growth, with key additions such as Luis Valdenebro, leading the Restructuring and Insolvency practice, and Emma Morales, heading the Arbitration practice.
