O&C advises Vinos Cría Cuervos on investment round

Ortego & Cameno has advised Vinos Cría Cuervos on a new investment round aimed at strengthening the company’s market positioning and accelerating its international expansion. As part of the operation, professional footballers Ángel Correa (Tigres UANL) and Álvaro Fidalgo (Real Betis Balompié) joined the company’s share capital as new strategic investors.

Vinos Cría Cuervos, which specialises in the marketing of wines under its own brand following a selection of vineyards and wineries across Spain, expects this investment to support the consolidation of its presence in Latin America and further expansion in Europe, states the law firm. The entry of the new investors will also reinforce the company’s operational structure as it continues to scale in a highly competitive and demanding market environment.

The transaction was led by Manuel Sánchez Huerta pictured), head of the firm’s corporate and M&A department, who oversaw the legal advisory process throughout the deal.
