Mutualidad de la Abogacía adheres to the UN’s PRI

Mutualidad de la Abogacía has adhered to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), a commitment of the financial investment area of the Mutualidad included in the current sustainability plan that seeks to strengthen the ESG criteria of its investment and asset management business.

For some time now, Mutualidad de la Abogacía has been working on the implementation of mechanisms and procedures that allow it to integrate ESG aspects into the daily management of its financial assets. For this reason, it has incorporated specific tools to analyse the social and environmental impact of investments, has identified sustainability risks that may have a significant impact on the portfolio and is adapting its policies to include its commitment to sustainable investment and to respond to new regulatory requirements.

“Sustainable development is not a fad, it is the great challenge of the 21st century, and business must commit to implementing corporate strategies accordingly. At Mutualidad de la Abogacía we are fully aware of our role as a player in the financial markets and in society, and we believe in the need to mobilise private investment towards sustainable investment. Only in this way will we achieve a positive impact on our environment,” said Enrique Sanz Fernández – Lomana (pictured), president of Mutualidad de la Abogacía.
