Morais Leitão appoints two partners to lead Team Genesis
Morais Leitão has announced that the leadership of Team Genesis will now be jointly held by newly appointed partners Isabel Carneiro Kahlen and Priscila Macedo Pinto. The appointment formalises the role both lawyers have played in recent years in managing and developing the team, which has spent more than a decade advising Portuguese and international companies operating in innovation-driven sectors, according to the law firm.
The two new partners bring distinct but complementary professional backgrounds to the role. Isabel Carneiro Kahlen, dual-qualified in Portugal and England & Wales, returned to Morais Leitão in 2021 following close to a decade of practice in London.
Priscila Macedo Pinto combines legal practice with prior experience in management roles, which the firm says gives her direct insight into the strategic, operational and growth challenges faced by businesses.
