Monereo Meyer strengthens its team with four new hires

Monereo Meyer Abogados, a law firm specializing in international legal services in Spain, has announced the addition of four highly skilled attorneys to its Real Estate, Corporate, and Tax departments. This strategic move underscores the firm’s commitment to meeting the complex needs of its primarily German, Austrian, and Swiss clientele with business interests and operations in Spain.

Strengthening the Real Estate practice

In Madrid, the Real Estate team welcomes Alberto Rodríguez García, a senior associate with over a decade of expertise in real estate, contractual, and procedural law. Alberto provides legal counsel to operators in the real estate, hospitality, industrial, and food sectors, focusing on transactions, litigation, and civil court proceedings. His experience spans real estate transactions, construction defects, and disputes involving property rights, guarantees, and other contractual matters.

Expanding the Corporate department

The Corporate department sees two new additions. Mariana González Raggi joins the firm’s Barcelona office, bringing significant experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial agreements. Javier Coll Sempere reinforces the Madrid Corporate team, specializing in corporate, contractual, and civil law.

Enhancing Tax expertise

In Madrid, the Tax department welcomes Elsa Ochoa Acereda, a senior associate with expertise in international and domestic tax law. Elsa advises high-net-worth individuals on tax planning and compliance and provides international tax advisory services for multinational companies and investment funds conducting real estate operations in Spain.

These new hires bring not only extensive legal expertise but also a strong intercultural understanding, crucial for assisting Monereo Meyer’s foreign clients, particularly those from German-speaking countries.
