Mitsubishi instructs Abreu Advogados on Colonial First State transaction

Abreu Advogados advised Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation on the Portuguese aspects of its acquisition of Colonial First State Global Asset Management from the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

The total value of the transaction was $2.9 billion.

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group – which offers services including commercial banking, trust banking, securities, credit cards, consumer finance, asset management, and leasing – has operations in 1,800 locations in more than 50 countries. It has more than 150,000 employees.
