Menéndez & Asociados Abogados appoints new of counsel

Menéndez & Asociados Abogados has appointed Emilio Dragone Vives (pictured), a specialist in environmental management and administrative intervention, as new of counsel.

With more than 40 years of experience, Dragone has played a key role in the Administration of the Generalitat de Catalunya, where he has worked since 1979, occupying for the last two years the position of Deputy Director General of Environmental Intervention and Qualification.

The lawyer has been in charge of the environmental prevention service for activities, as well as secretary of the Central Commission for Classified Activities, which has been replaced by the current Environmental Office. In the last two years, he has held the post of Deputy Director General for Environmental Intervention and Qualification.

“I want to contribute my experience as the person responsible for the processing of administrative procedures for the environmental authorisation of activities and, on the other hand, to offer the firm my knowledge of the environmental administration in which I have spent my entire professional career and of the various actors involved in environmental intervention”, said the firm’s new of counsel, Emilio Dragone.
