Melo Alves adds Bruno Cardoso to Asian Desk
Melo Alves has strengthened its Asian Desk practice with the addition of associate Bruno M. Cardoso. The new lawyer will advise on immigration and international mobility, foreign investment and nationality matters, handling residence permit applications, visas and Portuguese nationality procedures.

Background
Bruno M. Cardoso previously worked as an associate at ASA Lawyers, where he gained experience in immigration, international mobility and foreign investment. He also worked as a lawyer at Reis, Malheiro e Associados, handling nationality cases and administrative law matters. He holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, a postgraduate degree in Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences from the School of Health of the University of Algarve, and a postgraduate degree in Law and Legal Practice from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
He also took part internationally in the Shanghai Business School specialisation programme, focused on Sino-Portuguese cooperation in the foreign market, in partnership with the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, and in the Residency & Citizenship IREX programme in New Delhi, dedicated to global residency and citizenship programmes with a focus on Portugal.
