Mazars hires new professionals to boost its transfer pricing area
Mazars has hired new professionals to boost its transfer pricing practice. Among them, the firm has incorporated Marta Viñas, former senior manager of KPMG, who joins the project as a director specialised in the financial sector.
Viñas will work in the team led by César Del Portillo and, together with Astrid Sánchez, also director of the area, will lead an strategic plan with a clear objective: to increase the value provided to clients.
In addition to these profiles, the firm has also hired other professionals during the last year such as Álvaro Rabanal, coming from KPMG and now manager in Mazars; Wifredo Ameztoy, ex Deloitte and associate in the transfer pricing team; and Sara Calzado, who comes from PwC.
For his part, Del Portillo focused on the new challenges arising from digitalisation, internationalisation, as well as changes in the supply chain caused by various external factors, such as the economic and geopolitical situation. All these elements, he said, “are having an impact on the operations of organisations and the management of their businesses, which has a direct repercussion on transfer pricing policies”, he said.
