Martínez-Echevarría appoints two ex-EY lawyers as Tax partners
Martínez-Echevarría has appointed lawyers Eladia de Carlos and Cristina Alba as its Madrid office Tax Law area new partners
Eladia de Carlos (pictured first right) holds a degree in Law and Business Administration. Before working at EY, she has been working at KMPG Abogados and Hogan Lovells. She is specialized in advising large companies on Real Estate, Retail and Telecommunications tax proceedings (inspections, economic-administrative and contentious-administrative).
Cristina Alba (pictured first left) has also a degree in Law and a Master’s degree in Tax Consultancy. She has 15 years of experience in national and international firms as Roca Junyent, Baker McKenzie and EY. She is specialized in all areas of Tax Law. She is also an expert in Investment Tax planning, International Restructuring, Reorganization operations and Private Equity, among other matters.
On these incorporations, Albert Rivera Martínez-Echevarría Abogados (pictured centre) executive managing partner explained that, “we are reinforcing a key and strategic department for the firm”, highlighting that attracting talent, both junior and senior, is, precisely, one of his functions leading the firm.
