Marlen Estévez to launch her own law firm
Marlen Estévez Sanz is preparing to launch her own law firm, Iberian Lawyer understands. According to sources familiar with the matter, the new firm will mark the next chapter in Estévez’s career following her departure from RocaJunyent.
Details of the project have yet to be officially announced, but the new venture is expected to focus on dispute resolution, an area in which Estévez has built a significant part of her professional career, particularly in arbitration and mediation.
The name of the firm, its structure and the composition of its team have not yet been disclosed. Sources indicate that an official announcement regarding the project is expected in early October, when further details about the firm’s name, structure, team and strategic positioning are likely to be disclosed.
Estévez joined RocaJunyent as a partner in 2017, where she has focused on dispute resolution, arbitration and mediation. She is the president of the Madrid Business Mediation Center (CMEM), the Mediation Service of CIAM–CIAR, and the ADR Section of the Madrid Bar Association. Marlen has also founded Women in a Legal World, to promote female leadership in the legal sector; Más Cultura del Acuerdo, to transform the way conflicts are managed; and Club Hispanidad Futura, to build a shared vision for the Hispanic world.
