María Sevillano, new UCI’s legal and compliance director

UCI, Unión de Créditos Inmobiliarios, an entity specialized in sustainable financing, has hired María Sevillano, from Haya Real Estate, to occupy the position of legal and compliance director of the entity.

For the corporate director of Human Resources of the entity, Ángel Aguilar: “María Sevillano joins our company at a key moment, bringing a solid background and experience in the legal field that will undoubtedly reinforce our commitment to transparency and excellence in customer service. We are convinced that her leadership will contribute significantly to the growth and consolidation of UCI in the market”.

With an extensive professional career and nearly 20 years of experience, María Sevillano has provided legal advisory services in the real estate sector as a lawyer for companies such as Proinsa, ANIDA (BBVA Group), Divarian (Cerberus Group) and Haya Real Estate. Likewise, prior to joining UCI, she was responsible for the legal services contracting area for Haya Real Estate.

With a degree in Law from the San Pablo CEU University, the new Director of Legal Counsel and Compliance at UCI will be responsible for leading the areas of legal counsel, compliance and claims within the company, assuming responsibility for ensuring the legality of all legal activities and ensuring the defense of its interests in compliance with current regulations and the strategy defined by the company. Among his functions, he will be in charge of ensuring that the entire organization operates within the legal and regulatory framework, as well as supervising the claims filed by clients, ensuring adequate and personalized legal solutions. He will also be responsible for ensuring the monitoring of legal risks in the handling and resolution of claims, always in line with applicable regulations and the company’s strategic objectives.
