Marc Chevalier, new head of taxation at Mariscal Abogados
Mariscal Abogados has announced the appointment of Marc Chevalier Cueto to lead its Tax Law Department. With a distinguished career in tax advisory services for corporations and private clients, Chevalier brings a wealth of expertise to the firm.
Prior to joining Mariscal, Chevalier, graduated in Law, Political Science, and Public Administration from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, was serving as a tax lawyer at Pérez-Llorca for five years. In this role, he gained extensive experience advising top-tier multinational companies with both Spanish and foreign capital on a wide range of tax matters.
His international profile has equipped him with the skills to cater to the specific needs of foreign clients investing or doing business in Spain. Chevalier’s approach focuses on understanding clients’ fiscal challenges and delivering tailored solutions to ensure seamless and compliant operations within the Spanish legal framework.
In addition to his client work, he has co-authored several specialized legal publications on tax matters and actively engages in pro bono initiatives for non-governmental organizations, further reflecting his dedication to the legal profession and societal impact.
