JLCasajuana expands its Litigation, Corporate & Employment Team
JLCasajuana Abogados, a multidisciplinary law firm providing comprehensive legal services since its founding in 1976, and managed by José Luis Casajuana (pictured centre), has bolstered its Litigation, Corporate, and Employment teams with the addition of Óscar Mauri and Sara Moneva. These strategic hires, made during the second half of 2024, enhance two of the firm’s flagship practice areas.
With over 25 years of legal experience, Óscar Mauri brings a wealth of expertise to the Litigation and Corporate Department. His extensive career spans judicial representation and corporate legal advisory, with a notable focus on the transportation sector. Mauri previously served as legal advisor to the Directorate-General for Transport of the Regional Government of Extremadura and as a member and legal advisor of the Arbitral Transport Board of Extremadura, where he acted as an arbitrator in disputes related to the transportation sector
In the private sector, Mauri has advised startups, structured corporate operations, overseen mergers and acquisitions, and drafted commercial contracts. He has also provided legal counsel to boards of directors, occasionally serving as secretary to these bodies. With his appointment, the firm reinforces a department led by María Olivares, which represents one of the firm’s highest-volume practice areas.
Sara Moneva has joined the firm as a junior lawyer in its Employment Law Department. Her prior experience as a labor law advisor with Escalona & De Fuentes and her academic training at the Centro de Estudios Garrigues prepare her to make an immediate impact.
Under the leadership of Adelina del Álamo, the Employment Law Department comprises five legal professionals. Moneva’s addition strengthens the team’s capacity to serve clients in navigating complex employment law matters.
