Linklaters and King & Wood Mallesons advise on €2.4bn Naturgas deal

Linklaters advised J.P. Morgan Asset Management, the Abu Dhabi Investment Council, and Swiss Life Asset Managers on their acquisition of Spain’s Naturgas Energía Distribución.

The vendor, Energias de Portugal (EDP), instructed King & Wood Mallesons on the deal.

The transaction was valued at €2.4 billion, according to Mergermarket.

An EDP statement said: “The completion of the proposed transaction will be subject to the customary regulatory approvals and is expected to occur by end of 2Q17 or early 3Q17.”
