Linklaters adds IP/IT lawyer from ECIJA

Linklaters Spain has hired Eduardo Novella González del Castillo to strenghthen its IP/IT area

Eduardo Novella (pictured) is Law graduate from Universidad de Zaragoza, with a stay at Queen´s University in Belfast. He hols an LLM in Competition, Innovation and Trade Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a postgraduate course in EU Competition Law and another in Cyberlaw from the same institution.

He started his career at Uría Menéndez in its New Technology and Data Protection area, later specialising in EU and Competition Law. In 2020 he joined ECIJA as an IT/IP and EU & Competition Law lawyer. He is an expert in Digital Law, software, Data Protection and EU & Spanish Competition Law.

He teaches at Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Escuela de Práctica Jurídica) in the specialisation diploma in Legal Tech and Digital Transformation (DAELT) and also at the Blockchain School for Management. He is also a regular contributor to various media and publications on Legaltech, Digital Law and Blockchain.
