The new Lawyou partner has a proven track record in the field of Business Law. With this incorporation, the firm aims to give a boost to Insolvency advice in the current context of economic crisis that Spanish companies are going through. Rivera is a partner at Lamo de Espinosa & Asociados in Madrid.
Jaime de Rivera Lamo de Espinosa (pictured), who graduated in Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) in 1994, has extensive Business Law experience as a Civil Commercial mediator and as Insolvency administrator. After 25 years of practice, he has become highly specialised in Litigation in the fields of Intellectual and Industrial property, patents and trademarks, as well as Insolvency Law.
His clients are companies seeking his expertise in advising on the resolution of complex disputes, as well as Litigation planning and strategy. He is a founding member of the Asociación Nacional de Afectados por Delitos Económicos e Impagos (Anadei). He has also been a member of law firms such as Clifford Chance and PROPI, and has been a lawyer in the legal department of the SGAE.
