Latham & Watkins partner Antonio Morales joins Baker McKenzie

Latham & Watkins partner Antonio Morales has left the firm to join the Madrid office of Baker McKenzie.

Morales was a partner at Latham & Watkins for 11 years. Prior to that he was a partner at Hogan & Lovells.

Morales will officially join Baker McKenzie on 1 March.

Morales specialises in public law and arbitration and has a significant client base in the infrastructure and energy sector.

Morales was previously deputy managing partner of Latham & Watkins in Spain, at the time when the firm was headed by partner José Luis Blanco.

When Blanco announced his retirement in 2017, he was replaced by DLA Piper senior partner and global co-chairman Juan Picón.
