KWM advises Qualitas Energy on the first closing of its fifth fund
King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) has advised Qualitas Energy on the structuring and first closing of its new fund, QEV, which has achieved investment commitments of over €1.1 billion.
QEV seeks to invest in renewable energy assets and infrastructure related to the energy transition, primarily in Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy and Poland. Among the LPs participating in the new vehicle are several of the investors who have already been part of the previous funds.
The team from KWM advising Qualitas Energy was formed by Isabel Rodríguez (pictured), partner and head of investment funds and María de Orueta, senior associate in the same department.
