KPMG Abogados recruits CMS counsel Bartolomé Martín

KPMG Abogados has recruited CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo counsel Bartolomé Martín to head the firm’s new technologies and intellectual and industrial property department.

Martín was head of the data protection practice at CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo .

Prior to that, he led the intellectual property and technology practice in the Madrid office of DLA Piper, a firm where he spent 11 years.

Martín’s expertise includes advising clients on regulatory compliance, data protection, e-privacy, ecommerce, technology and digital transformation projects, consumer protection, forensic investigation, and the prevention of money laundering.
