KPMG advises on acquisition of Petroplast
KPMG Abogados has advised on the acquisition of Petroplast, a Spanish company based in La Rioja
KPMG Abogados acted as exclusive legal and labour advisor in Spain for the Italian PE Funds Armonia SGR S.p.A. and Azimut Libera Impresa SGR S.p.A. on the acquisition, through its portfolio’s company Induplast S.P.A., of 100% of Petroplast, S.A., a Spanish company based in La Rioja whose main business consists of the manufacture of packaging and other plastic products.
Founded in 1958, Induplast S.p.A. is dedicated to the manufacturing and supply of highly customized packaging and plastic containers (by means of injection moulding) for the pharmaceutical and food sector, and has evolved over time to establish itself nationally and internationally. The acquisition of Petroplast, S.A. allows Induplast S.p.A. to also have presence in the Spanish market.
