King & Wood Mallesons advise Miura Private Equity on structuring of €330m fund

King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) advised Miura Private Equity on the structuring and closing of its third fund, Miura Fund III, with total capital commitments of €330 million.

The fund received backing from US, European and Asian institutional investors, including insurance companies, pension funds, university endowments and funds of funds, as well as local family offices.

With Miura Fund III, Miura Private Equity plans to focus its investment in three areas: (i) entrepreneurship by converting the management teams of portfolio companies into partners; (ii) internationalisation through the acquisition of companies in “strategic markets” with the aim of promoting the creation of global groups; and (iii) local leadership through consolidation and integration of different companies within the same sector.

The KWM team was led by Madrid-based partner Isabel Rodríguez, and included senior associate Ildefonso Alier.
