Susana’s work covers advice, coverage dispute and defence work in complex matters across multiple jurisdictions within EMEA and Latin America for leading insurers and reinsurers as well as Insurance and Reinsurance intermediaries, with a particular focus on financial lines.

Susana has also advised insurance and reinsurance companies on Corporate and Regulatory matters as well as Insurance policy wording drafting, including localization to market according to the legal framework and best local practices.

Alex Guillamont, head of Latin America and the Caribbean says: “Susana has the perfect combination of skills, experience and knowledge to continue bringing the high quality of service our clients deserve. We welcome her to the team.”

Nick Thomas, senior partner at Kennedys, says: “We welcome Susana to the Kennedys family. She brings with her experience of supporting clients in multiple jurisdictions and her focus on financial lines and cyber supports the recent hires of Joshua Mooney and Sean Mahoney.”

Susana added: “Kennedys global presence provides a great platform from which I can support clients in both Europe and the LAC region. I look forward to working with both teams to ensure clients’ needs are met.”

Susana’s appointment comes at a time of expansion in the US and LAC region for Kennedys’ with the hire of Eric Hiller to the Miami office, and last year the firm celebrated the 10th anniversary of its Miami office.
