K&WM advises Iris Ventures on the launch of its fund Iris Fund I
King & Wood Mallesons has advised Iris Ventures on the launch of its first Venture Capital fund, Iris Fund I, which has just announced its first closing.
This new vehicle has a strategy aimed at investing in companies with high growth prospects and focused on improving the quality of life of its customers, covering various sectors such as, among others, healthcare, wellness, lifestyle, beauty, nutrition, education, technology and e-commerce.
Iris Fund I aims to make investments of up to €10 million in 10 to 15 companies located in Europe and the United States.
KWM’s fund team has been led by partner Ildefonso Alier (pictured left), with the collaboration of Tax partner Pablo Tejerizo (pictured right) and associate Enrique Torné.
