About the book
In the book, José María Gimeno proposes a paradigm shift in public procurement from a bureaucratic vision focused on price to a strategy based on value and results. The author stresses the need to transform public procurement from a mere administrative procedure into a strategic tool for improving public services and economic development.
In addition, it also highlights the importance of adopting criteria of efficiency, sustainability and innovation in procurement processes. As well, ensuring a positive impact on both the quality of the services provided and the strengthening of the business fabric. With a practical approach and based on real cases, the book offers keys for a more modern, transparent management oriented towards obtaining social and economic benefits.
The author, José María Gimeno Feliú, emphasized in his speech: “Public procurement is a key instrument for good administration and for the generation of public value. It is essential that we leave behind a merely formalistic vision and move towards a strategy that puts efficiency and quality of results at the center.”
