Jorge Doval, new partner to lead financial restructuring in Auren’s corporate division

Auren has recruited Jorge Doval, formerly of EY, as a new partner to lead financial restructuring in Auren’s Corporate division.

With a degree in Business Administration and Management from the San Pablo CEU University, a Master’s degree in Auditing from the IES-CEU, and a Master’s degree in Insolvency Administration from the UNED, Jorge Doval is a professional with more than 16 years of experience in advising on financing, refinancing, transformation, and restructuring processes for companies.

Doval joins Auren’s Corporate division from EY, where he became a partner in January 2021 in the Restructuring Strategy & Turnaround department, where he led the financial insolvency practice last year. Previously, he spent twelve years in KPMG’s Restructuring department, having joined the Transaction Services department two years earlier. The new partner began his professional career in the professional services sector in 2003 at EY, in the Audit department.

With his incorporation, Auren strengthens its team specializing in corporate restructuring through Auren Reestructuraciones 360º. This multidisciplinary practice combines experts with legal, financial, strategic, and forensic experience, offering comprehensive solutions in all phases of the process, from prevention and planning to the execution and consolidation of new debt structures.
