Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira advised employment app Jobandtalent on its €42 million Series B funding round.

Jobandtalent aims to connect small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with jobseekers. The app currently has 10 million users.

The investors were led by Atomico, an investment company founded in 2006 – by Niklas Zennström, a co-founder of Skype – that invests in technology companies.

The Cuatrecasas team included partners Francisco J. Martínez Maroto and Pedro Fernández Martín, as well as senior associates Mª José Víboras Cabañero and Marcos García González.

Additional investors and advisors in this funding round include Adeyemi Ajao (founder of Identified and currently vice president of technology strategy at Workday), Steve Goodman (founder of Bright.com, which was sold to LinkedIn in 2014) and Fabrice Grinda (founder of OLX.com).

The investment will be used to accelerate Jobandtalent’s international expansion and further develop its product and engineering team. Niall Wass, an executive at Atomico, will join the Jobandtalent board. Wass has previously worked with Betfair, Wonga and most recently Uber.
