J + Legal hires Manuel da Gama Quaresma
J + Legal has recruited Manuel da Gama Quaresma, who joins from Garrigues Portugal, to strengthen J + Legal’s Tax area
The recently founded new Portuguese law firm, J + Legal, reinforced its team with the hiring of Manuel da Gama Quaresma (pictured). The lawyer will strengthen the Tax area and joins the firm as a senior associate. Manuel da Gama Quaresma arrives from Garrigues, where he was part of the Tax area since 2015.
The new hiring by J + Legal has extensive experience in advising national and international clients, having also participated in several due diligence processes in the context of mergers and acquisitions. Manuel da Gama Quaresma holds a degree in Law from the University of Lisbon, having completed the teaching part of the Master’s Degree in Tax Law from the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Portugal.
J + Legal is a new Corporate, Tax, Civil and Litigation boutique that brought together a group of senior and well-known lawyers including José Diogo Horta Osório, Jorge Brito Pereira, Jaime Carvalho Esteves and Sofia Matos.
