Asenza Global Partners appoints Iñigo Sagardoy as CEO
Asenza Global Partners has appointed Iñigo Sagardoy as its new chief executive officer, entrusting him with the responsibility of leading the group’s global strategy, strengthening coordination among its member firms and supporting its next phase of growth and consolidation.
The appointment was approved by the group’s board on 30 June 2026. Sagardoy will combine the role with his current position as chairman of Sagardoy Abogados, a role he has held since 2010. Together with managing partner Martín Godino, he has overseen the firm’s development into one of Spain’s leading labour and employment law practices.
Asenza Global Partners was launched in 2024 with the backing of Ufenau Capital Partners as a legal and professional services platform bringing together specialist firms across complementary practice areas. The group currently includes Sagardoy Abogados, international mobility specialist Sagardoy Legal & Expat, tax and legal advisory firm Carrillo Asesores, Bestax Abogados y Asesores Tributarios, and Cosefinan.
The appointment recognises Sagardoy’s long-standing leadership in the legal sector and his role in driving the growth of Sagardoy Abogados over nearly two decades. Under his leadership, the firm has strengthened its position in the Spanish labour law market, building on more than 46 years of exclusive dedication to employment-related legal services.
Commenting on his appointment, Sagardoy said: “It is a true honour to contribute to this shared project alongside the outstanding professionals who make up the firms within Asenza. Our goal is to consolidate the group as one of the leading players in the Spanish legal market.”
