Ignacio Arráez Bertolín, new vice president of AEDAF
The Spanish Association of Tax Advisors (AEDAF) has held the elections for its Board of Directors for the years 2024-2027 in which Ignacio Arráez, partner of MAIO Legal, has been appointed new vice-president.
The candidacy in which the partner of the tax department, Ignacio Arráez, competed as vice-president and headed by Bernardo Bande was elected by a majority.
Ignacio Arráez
Ignacio has more than 20 years of experience. He holds a law degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a Master’s Degree in Tax Law from the Universidad San Pablo CEU, where he graduated first in his class.
Before founding MAIO Legal, Ignacio worked in the legal-tax department of Telefónica de España S.A., and was a partner at Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo, where he also headed the Tax Law department. Subsequently, he was managing partner of the Tax Law Department at Castro, Sueiro & Varela and director at KPMG Abogados.
He has directed the Madrid-Central Region of the Spanish Association of Tax Advisors (AEDAF), is an honorary professor in tax matters at the Complutense University, lecturer and co-author of several books on tax matters. He also regularly publishes articles on current tax issues in the economic and specialized press.
He is also a member of the Board of Directors of several companies, among them the listed company PRIM.
