Ignacio Aragón joins Ramón y Cajal Abogados as M&A partner
As part of its strategic growth plan and commitment to bolstering key practice areas, Ramón y Cajal has announced the appointment of Ignacio Aragón Alonso as a partner in its Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) division. Aragón Alonso will join the firm’s Corporate Law team, bringing a wealth of expertise and academic insight to the role.
With over two decades of professional experience at leading national and international law firms, Aragón Alonso is a seasoned expert in M&A, capital markets, corporate governance for both listed and private companies, and shareholder dispute resolution. His dual focus on legal practice and academia makes him a standout figure in the field of corporate and commercial law.
Since 2014, Aragón Alonso has served as an associate professor of Commercial Law at the Complutense University of Madrid, while also lecturing at institutions such as ISDE and the Madrid Bar Association. In addition to his teaching roles, he is a frequent speaker at prominent national and international conferences and has authored numerous publications on commercial and financial law.
Aragón Alonso, who until now was a partner at RCD, holds a Law degree from the Autonomous University of Madrid, an LLM in Business Legal Advice from IE, and a General Management Program (PDG) from IESE, among other advanced qualifications.
