HSF Kramer promotes Miguel García-Casas to partnership

Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer (HSF Kramer) has promoted 25 lawyers to its global partnership, effective 1 May 2026, in the firm’s first partner promotion round since its formation in June 2025.

Among the new partners is Miguel García-Casas, based in Madrid, who previously served as of counsel and head of the criminal law and investigations practice in the Spanish office.

The profile

Miguel García Casas holds a law degree and a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Complutense University of Madrid, where he also obtained a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Procedural Law following a research paper on the provisional enforcement of judgments within the EU legal framework.

Since 2009, he has been with Herbert Smith Freehills, where he is currently a Senior Associate in the litigation and arbitration department. His practice focuses on civil and criminal litigation, as well as domestic and international arbitration.
