HIG Capital acquires majority stake in Vítaly: advisors
US private equity firm HIG Capital has reached an agreement to acquire Spanish occupational risk prevention group Vitaly, with the aim of integrating it into Avanta, a Spanish company in the same sector. Vitaly is backed by funds from Artá Capital and Corpfin. Alongside the buyers, Cuatrecasas, EY Abogados, and Paul Weiss acted as legal advisors. Deloitte Legal and Garrigues advised the sellers.
This move marks the creation of one of the largest occupational health and risk prevention services groups in Spain, with a strong position to lead the sector at the European level. The integration will accelerate Vítaly’s growth, enhance its technological capabilities, and expand its value proposition in the fields of safety, health, and workplace well-being.
