GS Inima acquires El Fenazar solar park in Murcia: Advisors

GS Inima, a world leader in environmental services related to the integral water and energy cycle and positioned as one of the groups with the largest volume of plants in terms of concessions, closed in December the acquisition of a 30.12 MWp photovoltaic solar plant located in Molina de Segura (Murcia, Spain).

This new project will use bifacial modules and solar tracking technology and is expected to generate almost 60,000 MWh per year, equivalent to the consumption of more than 5,500 homes. Construction of the facility is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025 and will take approximately two years, with an estimated commissioning date of 2027. Having been acquired, at an advanced stage of development, with all the necessary permits already obtained, an immediate start of construction and expeditious execution is guaranteed.

The Fenazar Project is another substantial addition to GS Inima’s growing renewable energy footprint, following the acquisition in early 2024 of the 8.7 MWp Boco Solar PV plant, comprising two PV power plants located in the Valparaiso region of Chile.

The Pinsent Masons team has advised GS Inima led by energy partner Alfonso Bayona together with associates Javier Aguilera and Alvaro Marquez.
