Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised the financing entities on the Spanish law aspects of the refinancing of Grifols, in a transaction valued at approximately $5.3 billion.
The deal has been structured through a cross-border financing package comprising two term loan facilities and a multi-currency revolving credit facility. The refinancing enables Grifols to strengthen its liquidity position, enhance financial flexibility and extend its debt maturity profile, covering all obligations falling due before October 2028.
