Gómez-Acebo & Pombo acts for Esprinet on Vinzeo deal

Esprinet was advised by Gómez-Acebo & Pombo on the acquisition of Vinzeo Technologies, a Spanish distributor of IT and mobile telecommunications devices.

The transaction was valued at €58 million, according to Mergermarket.

Vinzeo distributes more than 20,000 products through its hub in Daganzo, Madrid.

Since 2009, Vinzeo has been a key distributor of Apple products, including iPhones and the Apple Watch. Headquartered in Madrid, the company also has offices in Barcelona and Bilbao.

The acquired business reported total sales valued at €584.4 million in 2015, a 19 per cent increase on 2014. Vinzeo´s 2015 EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization) was €7.5 million.
