Garrigues approves its fourth equality plan
Garrigues has approved its fourth equality plan, which forms part of the firm’s ESG objectives and is in addition to the previous plans of 2008, 2017 and 2020.
This new equality plan includes a set of measures aimed at making further progress in achieving and guaranteeing gender equality at the firm. These measures include the Women’s Mentoring Programme, the Garrigues Optimum Plan and the Garrigues Home Office Plan.
The protocol to prevent sexual and gender-based harassment in the workplace has also been updated with the clear aim of creating a safe and healthy environment characterised by equal opportunities and non-discrimination, as well as new measures relating to gender-based violence, in order to provide adequate protection in this area.
As a result, the Garrigues partners’ meeting held on 10 November approved the appointment of 16 new partners, half of whom are women. These appointments will become effective at the beginning of 2023.
