Garrigues and Uría Menéndez instructed on €215m Itconic sale

Garrigues acted for asset manager The Carlyle Group on the sale of cloud technology provider Itconic to Equinix, which was represented by Uría Menéndez.

The deal was valued at €215 million, according to Mergermarket.

The acquisition is expected to be finalised in the final quarter of this year, subject to regulatory approvals.

The Carlyle Group acquired Itconic in 2015 through Carlyle Europe Technology Partners III, a €657m fund focused on European technology, media and telecommunications companies.
