Endesa sell 51 % in EME to ENEL for €122m. The advisors
Garrigues has advised Endesa on the sale of 51% stake in its electric mobility business, named Endesa X Way, to Enel X Way, a company wholly owned by Enel, for an amount of 122.4 million euros. ENEL is the Italy based generator, transmitter and distributor of electricity and gas across Europe. With the closing of the sale, Endesa will maintain ownership of 49% of Endesa X Way, a name that has been agreed to be given last Friday to Endesa Movilidad Eléctrica.
The Garrigues team was led by executive chairman Fernando Vives (pictured left) with the support of Energy partner Silvestre Arana (pictured right) and associate Roldán García. Enel in-house team was formed by Armando Monaco and Francesca Sordi and Endesa in-house team was headed by Borja Acha, General Secretary and Secretary of the Board of Directors of Endesa, S.A., and Raphael Fauquie, Head of legal services and compliance of Endesa.
