Garrigues acts for Carmila on €182m shopping centre acquisitions

Garrigues advised Carmila on the €182 million acquisition of six shopping centres in Spain.

The shopping centres are located in Cordoba (pictured), Sevilla, Cadiz, and Alicante, with a further two in Barcelona.

The centres were acquired from the Pradera European Retail Fund.

A Carmila statement said the centres provide an “average effective yield of 6.3 per cent”.

The statement added that the acquisitions were financed via a €350 million bond issued in February.

The Garrigues team advising Carmila included partners Jorge García-Pellicer and José Vicente Iglesias Partner, counsel Maria José Morales García, principal associates Amalia Hernández Sendin and María Muñoz Domínguez, and associate Mar Just.
