GA_P hires two new partners for the litigation department

Gómez Acebo & Pombo has announced the incorporation of Almudena Larrañaga and Luis García del Río as new partners of the firm. Both were part of Repsol’s legal advisory team and later created together the boutique DRL Abogados, now they join Gómez-Acebo & Pombo to strengthen the procedural area.

Almudena Larrañaga holds a law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid and has worked for more than 10 years as a legal advisor at Repsol. First in Repsol Butano and later in Upstream & LNG.

In 2008, together with Luis García, she created DRL Abogados. They have been partners until they joined the firm led by Íñigo Erlaiz to strengthen the procedural area.

Luis García de Río also holds a law degree from the University of Seville. His career as a lawyer began in the General State Administration in its offices in Cáceres, Huelva and Madrid. He has also been an advisor to the Minister’s office in the Ministry of the Environment. In his last stage before creating DRL Abogados together with Almudena, he worked at Repsol as head of the legal department, later as director and finally as director of Legal Services Upstream & GNL.
